I always wondered about this…
This reminds me of “The Chronicles of Narnia”, specifically “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”. The children in this story spends years in Narnia at the end of the story & grow up & mature. When they go back home, its as if they never left & they still behave like children, or maybe they never actually matured in that world (although in one book, Queen Susan was offered marriage, I don’t think that one worked out). Even so, they still had boarding school in the years after…but I’d love to know what they were thinking while sitting through those classes.
